Looking for mirada in nj area

Does anybody knows of a junkyard mirada close to central jersey let me know looking for one

Was it /6billy that had one for sale before Christmas? There is or was one advertised here by a member.

im just trying to find a parts car really in the range of like 100 to 500

Actually it was Gator who was selling the Mirada. Oddly, we happen grab it from Central NJ last year. It is now down at Gator's Mopar Swamp Garage. Gator already acquired the new taillight corners (the originals disintegrated), stripped the roof (still have som of those parts. We have never seen a Mirada in any yard. We have seen a J body Imperial. We have found scatterings of parts in some yards (take offs from wrecks). There's one yard just east of Marlton or so Called Friendship. I thought they were high $$$ so I have not been there in over 7 years. Google Maps. There was another yard in New Egypt, but again it has been years since I've been there. We will keep an eye out in the South part of Jersey. I work in Phila and usually find my lunch break in Century Motors on 61st street where they currently have 2 Imperials

No just need parts for my car that are easy to get

Alex, I think the point is.... 80-83 J bodies aren't easy. They aren't cheap. They aren't plentiful. Only about 50,000 J's were produced over 4 years. The bad parts are bad on all of them. And when you find the parts you need, the guy with parts is wearing a mask and has a gun. They have you part. Its being held ransom. Its called Supply and demand. I wish you luck in your search. You might need to raise your wish figure a bit, just to get into the ballpark.

Jim is right. Finding these cars isn't easy. I have a nice parts car, but I'd never let it go for less than $1500, which I think would be a bargain. Its a 57K LS. I bought a parts car once for $350 and it had no nose, engine, hood or anything below the body line. It was on the ground!

Last year here on ffmjbo we had 2 members sell 2 Js. One was a complete solid driver, one was a sharp race car with title and road worthy I think. One sold for $1500 or one just just below. I just found a lot driver 4 speed F Road Runner in fairly tough shape, advertised for $2800 complete Needs lower quarters, rockers grill and an interior redone and a RR 15 x 8 wheel but all there and will run and move.
