WILL rubber grommets from other years/models work?? I have not seen one that shows for a the F body.

should be still available from the dodge dealer. if not plenty on ebay. the part number should be 4002010

As mentioned, they are readily available either from the dealer or as reproductions.

I've discovered there are quite a few parts listed for other bodies and years that are the same one's used on F-body but, they never mention it in the ads or catalogs.

I would stick with a Mopar one if possible as the rubber would most likely be better then aftermarket.

Glad the are available. Last year I had to have a new tank grommet for the 62 Lancer. It has a smaller filler neck than later years, the opening in the tank is thus smaller and even has a different lip. NO where could I find a NOS one, anywhere. NO repops. I finally got a few assorted grommets and cut and molded it to fit.

I've use 2 from Dante's mopar parts in Mullica Hill NJ. One on a 76/77 hump tank and my 79
