Nothing new happening in the garage. Sad to say but that’s life!

Sitting in the corner of the garage all alone....... at least it is out of the elements.

I got the cam degreed today. Finally that’s done. Now I can button up the bottom end.

Order up some head gaskets tomorrow. After that all I need is pushrods.

Decided to take a few pics mocked up to keep me motivated!

Smith Bros make excellent pushrods...my last custom set came from there, happy with the tech advice and the quick turn-around.

I have done a lot of stuff in the past 2 years to get it race ready. It’s slowly coming together the way I want it. Lots of work (and money) but in the end it will be worth it. I would like to change the colour but I want to make a few passes first.

I've been a painter/body man for 40 years and its probably the least important part of getting your car out, get it to the track!!!
Mine has been there in primer more than once...

I won’t get it running this year. Gotta wait till spring.

Pushrods is the only thing needed to complete build.

I had to change plans. Big cam is back on the shelf and small cam is now degreed. Piston to valve clearance was an issue with the big cam.

New cam is 572/582 lift. 256/260 dur @.050. I have the clearance I need now.

Meanwhile I’ve started to build a test run stand to break in my engine.

I fired this W2 360 beast up the other weekend. No leaks or breaks so it’s time to put inner springs back in and put in car.
