All I know is Phil out of Iowa repops all this stuff better than new. Go to Facebook F body sites and you will find him. Your needs lots of work, fixable but I bet, a repop of Phils is worth a bunch more to most guys??

I have no idea what it's worth, but I think it's still great that you offer it for sale. You never know who is looking for what! ;)

I agree.
You asked what is it worth, just trying to give you an idea. Worth what ever the buyer will pay, and the seller will accept!

Very limited market imo, like to a SC car owner, alot better options to most without a SC.

Most exposure will be on ebay. Maybe $1 maybe $500 although it appears a bit tattered/lost rigidity. Id lean more to the $1 side.

Too bad them cars were left out to rot like they did and now sell the parts vs when they had good value.

Yes they can be repaired, but I bet the shipping would be $75 due to size of box!!!! Postage kills a lot of deals now days!!

Not being harsh, but when the get bad they just fold or roll up, small box shipping. Ive one you could make a big squeegee out of. That material just wasnt meant to last 40 years.

But it wouldnt be hard to make a brace to attach behind it. Id do it if I had a SC and was missing that part, a repaired one is better the none at all.

At the time of Phil's passing the mold for the replacement SC front spoiler was damaged, and there's apparently no intention of repairing it, although the family is looking to sell the molds to a quality fiberglass shop. If you know any to recommend, it would be helpful to getting the reproduction of F-body parts going again.

I seem to recall he was getting $165 for the fresh ones. For so long as there are no new ones to be had, make your own estimate of value. But that an old price to compare with.

Making and maintaining the molds is VERY expensive. You would have to sell quite a few, or sell them for a very high price not to go broke.

I have seen those spoilers go for $500 in the OEM box but that was a while ago. That's what I paid, and that was 2016, I thought that was a great deal. It was a swap meet so no shipping costs or worries. The window louvers can go quite high too. When you start replacing all of the spoilers and ground effects bits, it really gets expensive. If you buy a car where all of that stuff is busted up, you can run up past $2000 quickly for nice parts. They can be fixed if they aren't too nasty.

Oh for sure. Phil was getting big $ for the SC and 43 flare sets. He was supposed to deliver a pair of new SC front spoilers to me when he was on the way to Carlisle last year, but forgot to put my order in, while I had already sold mine to another friend in need. The very next member of our community to be in need found the mold warpage on driver side of mold. But by the time he told me 5 days later, a deal had already been made with Phil and it had been cut into 3 pcs rather than sent to me for repairs to return a new double check on the master part to repair the mold. The little A66 stuff was just $50 ea. I'm running some, as are magazine feature cars and they were always top notch ready to install without work. Side louvers $150 ea in either style, and he was selling them too. None of this by the boat load. You know we're just a niche market. But enough that it was worth the while of the kayak mfg shop who was his producer. Their consistent quality is what made them sell. and what would make them sell for any other. The stuff from MAS that's ended up at Showcars you either get quality or you get nothing, and get stiffed from a mfg who's in Canada and you are just up against a wall to ever be compensated for the loss. Unfortunately the kayak mfg owner/ maker is also retiring now after having lost so much of his business and having health concerns simultaneously to Phil's passing. If anybody is going to carry forward in making quality items for this community now is the time to act. I have a friend trying to volunteer my experience, but while I could do a few, now and again, I am by no means a professional in the business nor looking to get into in the business for this singular purpose. It's going to take somebody who's other products round out a production schedule.

I really want a good shop to take up this mantle of providing our community among the other things they do. We need solid professional relationships that cater to our needs while expanding their own reputations. There may be a lot of window shopping time waster's in our ranks, but there are even more of us who are serious about our interests in this hobby and this niche specifically, with wallets to back them.

I thought about buying the chin spoiler. because my duster as the road runner kit, but I decided not to, because of parking block clearance. I would hate to spend the money just to get it busted off on a curb.

Mine is in good condition other than being fairly badly warped. Does anyone know if warpage can be fixed, and how?
