Soon I will be getting the 8.25 in the Mirada. This includes new springs.
Once everything is unhooked, I plan on taking the 7.25/springs out as a single unit. Anyone see any issues with this?
Prepping the 8.25 for the Mirada, which has a 7.25. I'll be completely rebuilding the 8.25 drum brakes. Will the hard brake lines on the 7.25 axle, parking cable swap right over to the 8.25?

Been spec'ing the cam for the 390. Got to love good custom cam grinders with patience. It must be trying to put up with some of us nimrods. They have a way of letting you know, you don't know squat without being rude. :laughing9:
Cleaning up to get the 5.0 and Mirada in the garage. I think it's an exercize in moving crap from one place to another. :disgust:

What's everyone running who has dual exhaust? H-crossover, X-crossover, or no crossover of any type.
I was running duals with no crossover ending out the back. Thinking of going with a crossover when the time comes.
Good info on this site. Might be a good sticky. I was aware of most of this, but forgot the one piece magnum oil pan gasket doesnt work with the LA timing cover.

Got the aspen up on stands for motor and trans removal. The plate you see in the pic strikes me as odd for some reason. Pic is looking upward towards the hurst shifter. The plate attaching to the rear pad looks strange for some reason.
Is everything look normal in the pics?
