I just put 900 miles on it. It drove like a new car. I had to boil out the radiator, rebuild the carb and rebuild the brakes. Tires were replaced but I still have them. It drove like a new car 75+ mph, it IS A NEW car! I like new cars, but driving the long trip in this one was a pleasure. It felt like sitting on a bed, even on the worst stretches of highway. It's crazy that everything works after over 40 years. It is so sad that we no longer build things like this. The junkyard is full of cars less than ten years old.

I officially have one thing not working now, that damn 2-speed wiper motor clutch thingy. It cracked. So it must be inferior materials because the original wiper blades held up just fine but this plastic cam thingy did not. I have been told this car has never been used in rain but the guy used the washers a few times. It's kind of noteworthy how much different this drives than my numerous Police Dip/Fury's past and present, even the very low miles ones. This rides much better and the seats are so much better. I truly always have detested those awful AHB seats, even the deluxe cloth ones. This or a Fifth Ave interior in an AHB would have been a really nice way to go.

Beautiful car, and rare with such extraordinarily low mileage. Power windows are a real plus! I always loved the looks of the early LeBarons and Diplomats.

I need to do a spray out card now and make sure the paint is a match. If I like it, I can proceed with the deck lid as that's the worst part of the car. It has water spots.
