Introducing "Lucky", my 1988 all original stock 1988 Fifth Avenue proudly wearing personalized plates "LKY FIND"... {i.e "Lucky Find"}
I was very fortunate to obtain this beauty in "Twilight Blue" with co-coordinating Twilight Blue Kimberly Velvet interior approx 5 years ago from the elderly father of a friend of my new partner who had purchased the 5th NEW as a retirement gift for himself back in the day.
With only 39K original kilometers {that's 24k miles for our American friends} at time of my purchase it was too good a deal to pass up. He always garage kept from the rain as well as the snow so no exposure to the elements for his baby. With poor health and age creeping steadily up, it was time for him to downsize which brings me into the picture. I was still living on the island of Newfoundland, Canada when I received the call for the possible sale which was located half way across the country. Long story short... I bought the car sight unseen and made arrangements to fly up 3months later to pick up my new treasure. Needless to say I was quite pleased with my purchase !!!

Although I continue with Winter storage. this time capsule is thoroughly enjoyed throughout the summer attending shows in the immediate and surrounding areas, bringing home numerous awards. Basically the only modifications that I have done is upgrade the original hidden speakers, install sequential tail lights, and redone the side electluminescent opera lights to better than new working condition.

Hope you Enjoy my little blog and Pic's !!!

Nice Colors!
Is that Gun Metal Blue?
Thanks for your inquiry. The color is "Twilight Blue" which is more blue than the "Gunmetal" which was discontinued in 1987 prior to my 1988. i.e The Twilight Blue was the replacement for the Gunmetal.
The interior is done in a coordinating lighter blue than the exterior. The material is a Kimberly Velvet which is also called "Twilight Blue"

Your car is in show room condition. Love the extra clean engine compartment. The white walls make the car a true classy vehicle from the 80's.
