RARE ORIGINAL ALUMINUM FACTORY WHEELS

WHITE with RED LEATHER INTERIOR - BUCKETS & CONSOLE. ..

DECK LID HAS BEEN SPRAY PAINTED BLACK...

1/4's have some rust above the wheel opening moldings..

RUNS & DRIVES, needs battery & exhaust.....

Those "rare... aluminum" wheels are common 15x6.5 steel C-body/pickup-truck road wheels with a plastic spoke piece bolted in through the small rectangular slots. The hub covers are aluminum, though...

I had one of the first ones built; several early ones escaped the factory with no catalytic converters and mine was one of them (I replaced the original exhaust). 'Twas also a T-top car. I bought it in 1989 for $600 with 229,000 miles on it. I sold it to my best friend, he sold it to my next-best friend, who sold it to a kid a year behind me in high school. The guy who bought it from him was a trucker from Chicago who was going to use it for parts for his. A year later I saw it in town. The trucker still had it, but couldn't take it apart because "It just runs too well." It had almost 500,000 miles on it and it still had the factory valve-cover gaskets in it.

Late to the party here but those wheels are indeed aluminum.I have 2 sets that came off 300's. They are similar looking to the steel version but have 16 slots instead of 15. I have them on my '67 and '73 Chryslers, the part I don't like about them is they don't have a groove in the lip to accept a trim ring.
