1985 Caravelle AHB

Longtime member of FCBO, just purchased an 85 Caravelle AHB that was originally a city of Windsor police cruiser.....

Eventually I will restore it to its in-service condition.

A nice project.

It looks almost like an '84 Oklahoma Indian reservation police car I parted out, many years back. Same color and everything.
Well, not quite the same color . . . They had mounted lights on the roof and did a poor job doing so. The entire roof and floor pan was major Swiss cheese and remaining roof paint was, um, rust. From a standing position, you could look over the roof and see grass underneath the car in several locations.

Looks like someone liberated the police wheels from car and put civies back, just for you.

Someone did liberate them, but I have a few sets here in the garage it can choose from.

Luckily they did a pretty decent install on this car, one hole for antenna and one for the federal signal twinsonic power cable.

That's correct. Same car, it's a full AHB package, so yes 8.25 with 11x2.5 drums. I paid the $350 and drove 5 hours each way in a terential down pour to get it.
