76 road runner

Hi,just picked up a 76 road runner with T-tops can not find much info on car,pulled it out of a garage this past Sat. this car has not seen daylight for years, small block car,anyway anybody have any info on these cars please post it up, will post pics when i get it out of the trailer thanks mark

thanks volare 77 that is a start nothing mentioned about t-top car is a 318 i think can not see the the vin windshield has that much crud on it.

One thing to know. These cars (especially 76 77) have front frame rot issues so check over that area first if you haven`t already. Also t top seals are impossible to find and nobody makes them that I know of.

hey volare 77 started to go thru the car today and the t-tops are not there,there was a pair in the back seat,but they are too small

i will in the am ,you know i did not even look but got a title and i will be the second owner so thats pretty good start and thanks first f body i'm a active member on A and B bodys only hope the same class of people so far pretty good

thanks looking forward to driving this it has been in a garage since 84,lot of dirt and bugs, the windshield is like the mopar from blues brothers lol lot of work just to get a pic for this site

Hey new to this kind of car. Fender tag is not where an A or B body would be. No screw holes on the inner fender. So where do they stash it and the build sheet? Figure it might be different on these cars since build sheet isn't under the rear seat.

The fender tag would be on the drivers side inner fender about a foot or two back from the battery . Sounds like yours is missing. Mine was missing from my car also as the previous owner removed it to paint the engine compartment. A lot of the times build sheets were not in these cars. I never found one in my car and I have been through it thoroughly

I`m surprised there is no tuff wheel. I was going to tell you to be careful with leaning on the grille as they are fragile but I see that it was already broke.

well did a little cleaning it shows 54,890 miles as you guys can see really dirty have not been in the trunk yet ,so might find some more things

did a little more cleaning today,and came up with this car is a 1977 the vin on the dash is HL29C7BXXXXXXXX,radiator core support is 83337516 title is HP29K6BXXXXX, all I can say is WTF!! looks like a can of , so do 76 t-tops interchange with 77 t-tops? anybody know? could use some help mark

76 77 are the same on most items. yes the tops are the same.
