Notice the mock up 80 grille .... so the neighbors don't think it is a derelict

Its sort of amazing how reliable these cars are. This car hasn't been turned over in 10 years, but it started after a few tries. My 1980 Cordoba sat in a open field for 12 years, same story. My 1981 Mirada CMX wasn't started for 8 years, and again, started up after a short bit of effort. I wonder how the computerized cars of today would have fared if left for 10 years. I may be wrong, but I don't think they would start, or might start after some pretty intensive effort.

I turned the crank pulley by hand before letting the starter try to do it. The motor was freed up .If I had an outboard motor tank, I'd b driving today

I had a small outboard boat motor plastic tank, but sold it a while back. Might have to use a Pepsi 2 liter? hahaha....Not Really!
