I had to patch my daughter's grille with a piece from a Dart...couldn't even find a parts 78 grille, you're lucky to have that to piece a decent one together.

Gator found the donor grille in a storage (school bus) bin in the junk yard. It was split in 1/2 and cracked everywhere

Helpful video. I'd like to see a "part two" where you make and use the acetone mixture to actually glue it together. I have to glue a few cracks and replace a horizontal piece on OY's Aspen grille, which will likely be much easier than working on a Volare grille. I'm lucky to have a donor grille from the one parts wagon that I bought a few years back. I hope that in years to come that someone will start to make repro grilles. The F's are becoming more popular over time, so it may happen at some point.

I used JB Weld when I patched mine. Worked great.
