anyone install one of thoes column to cable shift kits?

I need to run a cable to shidt my 518 using the super comp headers in my volare... has anyone had any luck with the column to cable shifter kits? Not much of the column sticks into the engine bay of the f body... not sure if this kit will even work. Dont want to pull the 60/40 bench for floor shifter and bucket seats. Any sugggestions?

Are you talking the Lokar type cable setup? If so, yes, that's what I have in my coupe...it works very well.

I used it primarily b/c I wanted to free-up some room in the area and this gave me a much cleaner/controllable environment. You just need to make sure you set it up correctly.

Get a good floor shifter and use the Mopar one from Bouchillon Performance.

My column doesnt seem to have enough sticking through the firewall to attach the cable support braket/clamp to. Even the shifter arm is bent out and around the firewall. Is it just a really tight fit?
