I am inside searching for something to watch on tv.

Burt is young and dashing.
Driving a t-top trans-am with a young Sally Field in the Car.

Everybody is wearing bell bottoms.

Ahhh -- the seventies.

A fun afternoon watching the movie.

...............and let's not forget Jackie Gleason as Sheriff Beuford T. Justice. There's now way, no WAY, anyone else could have played that part.
When that movie was made, I was 13 and HOPE I looked better

Probably have seen this movie 50 times, including at the theater when it came out waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back when. It's still awesome. The 2nd movie was so-so and Smoky and the Bandit III,,,,,,,,,,,,,don't even waste your time, it sucks big time.



Obviously not stock Trans Am's in the movie but they sure do sound nice! Seems like he's either WOT or decelerating from 5,000 rpm.
The video is good until the 50 second mark, then they messed it up by by playing the Bandit song instead of the REAL music (the car). Only one I could find though.
