Cecil County Drags Maryland Wednesday night is test & tune Street night

Got into work this morning and some very eager folks want to head on over to Cecil County Drag strip tomorrow after work. HELL YEAH, I work with some really awesome folks (offsets the other a-holes I work with).

So my Volare' is getting it's baseline runs at Cecil. Cecil is about the same distance to Atco for me, just across the State of Delaware.

Anyone want to run- it is 15 bucks and then 10 just to watch. Anyone local with the winter blues, come on out and get some burnt rubber smell on ya and some adrenaline.

And there will be video for those who can't make the trek.

There's a local track here and they have pretty much the same deal and a couple of years ago Doc LeBaron and I were gonna go head to head with our Super Sixes.

We never got around to it but I thought it would be hysterical.
Folks at the track would think someone slowed down time....lol.

SB Mopar running a hi 8@150MPH in the 1320
Not to make his times public info but he did run a 9.7@103, letting off half way down the track...
All motor, no N20.... He had the best times of all in attendance.

Damnit I got swamped with work today and really wanted to skip out and head to Atco and meet up and hang. No good day at work compares to any day at the track. My wife no has to deal with me whining about missing the track.

That is a sweet car. I catch up at Maple Grove on the 30th Hell or highwater!

the w8's do make power. a fellow mopar racer up here has a 414'' w8. first pass he did was 8.46 @ 154. can't wait till he gets the bugs worked out.
