My friend and I both drove our "classic cars" to the flip house the other weekend. He has a '75 Dart Sport with only about 35K on it or so, OY has 30K, and the '93 pickup only has about 75K on it. Does anybody notice something strange about the pickup???

OK, I give up. What about the truck? o_O
Looks like the front bumper might be bent, but that's not really strange though.

Ok, It took me a while to notice it, but on all other '93 Dodges the word "DODGE" is inscribed in bold letters across the top part of the grille, and there is no Dodge script on the hood. My friend bought this truck a few years ago from a farmer who had it for many years, and he told my friend and I that it was hit in the front when it was still fairly new. So, we assume that the grille must be an aftermarket grille, and the hood is probably from a pre-1991 Dodge truck, which had the Dodge script on the hood. Below is a pic of another '93 with the correct grille and hood.

Some of the replacement grilles don't have the DODGE, probably to avoid licensing fees I would think.
My '81 D150 had the 'DODGE' on the hood and now that you point it out, it's obvious.

I remember in 1992 when I worked at a local dealer, we got in two new trucks. That same grill was not on the truck. They sent them with grey grilles. We were sent two new replacements in Chrome. I asked what to do with the take offs??? Owner says take them to the dumpster!! OK!!! (I was 19 years old. They didn't quite fit...... So I made them fit..... When I told my dad when I got home, he just about flipped his S@#*!

That red pickup doesn't have many miles on it (only about 75K), but it had some rust under the rubber mat that required patching the drivers side floor. It also is starting to rust over the rear wheels, and on the lower right front fender. It runs great, but the trans has seen better days. It steers like the Titanic. My friend thinks he might take the Magnum 318 out eventually and put it in his Dart Sport one of these days.
