EL Opera Lamp restoration '89 5th Ave

Thanks to Master M, I just finished my replacement of the EL strips in my '89 5th. I got the strips off of ebay and they seemed to be of good quality. I hope they hold up!

That electroluminescent stuff is so cool. About as thick as masking tape and lights up kind of like magic while using almost no power.

The guys at work came to my office and said the thing they liked the most on my 89 5th Ave is the "lightsabers on the sides".

I'm not sure of my build date...she's my daily driver, all stock over 300 000 miles but still ticking. Light pewter metallic with velour interior and overhead console. Everything still works on it (I've taken care of her...love this thing!).
