So I’ve changed the lean burn system on my 85 fifth Ave to electronic ignition. My question is, using a stock coil what value ballast resistor should I be using? I would like to keep the coil and box happy and not stress any other ignition parts

Don't know what the ohm value is but a stock Mopar ballast will be good. You want full voltage in crank and reduced in run.

Should be a 1ohm resistor. If you upgrade to a MSD blaster2 coil, those use a .8ohm resistor. The more you know.
