New heater core came today. It doesn't look exactly like the factory one . But I'm wondering if this one will and if it's installed, will the rest of the dash fit around it?

dude, I hate to say it don't look right, but it looks like the tubes are way off. My car was an Ac car and the heater box is different than non AC. What is your car? AC or Non AC? Reference my video for some help: Go to the end since you have the removal down.

The new one is for an A/C car, no doubt. On those, the tubes come out side by side more or less behind the carb. vs a heat only car.

The heater core on my non-A/C ’77 wagon started to leak (fog on windshield).
I plan on converting it to A/C, but not this early and I don’t want to have to do the job twice – but (sigh) will have to do so.

The parts store I frequent has a non-A/C heater core available for $44.99 (US) – but nothing for car with A/C (new).
