New to the site but not f bodies. My first car at 16 was a 1979 volare I am now 50yrs old and just bought a 1976 Aspen R/T clone. Rebuilding the front end right now and will be souping up the slant 6 to take a 4bbl for now. Car came with a turbo kit from Turbonetics in the trunk. I may fool with that on a new rebuild that i have planned for the future.

There are no repops. Good used is an option. Since Jim retired, can't suggest where to find them other than obviously from the south west in the land of rust free sheetmetal. Can't verify personally but I've heard some use A-body repop pans and modify as needed to fit. Other choice is make them yourself, starting with flat sheet stock.

Karl ...
man -- I wish we were closer. I've got a 1962 Willys Pickup that has a similar Fred Flintstone Floor. We would puzzle this out together.
