I used my 84 Ram for a trial victim. 1st removed all plastic trim/visors and the cove shaped dome backing board fell right out. Then I could work on it to get rid of all the rag headliner and take the shop vac to the backing board (big time vacuumed it). Normally I won't use latex paint on anything. This was the exception. My interior is blue so I ended up mixing 4 colors to match my headliner color exactly. (dk blue, lte blue, white and black. The backing board is like a sponge the std cab pick up took a quart of paint. It was more dabbing than painting. Am VERY happy with the results. Will do the 5th next
