It's like a low key Jeremy Clarkson review from the British Top Gear show.

Regular Car Reviews: 1980 Dodge Aspen

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGnMVijx5GE

I don't mind criticism though-it's hard to get the tough critiques from the fans of the vehicle, so I enjoyed it. Even if it was somewhat incorrect. He basically took the write-up of previously published books.

This guy knows nothing of the mighty slant six. I piss on this video. Any car would be that much of a POS if never maintained. that car had steering issues and the slant six makes WAY more than 80 HP... just saying...video makes my blood boil talking crap about my favorite engine ever made. AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!

I've seen this already.
In my opinion it's just another clown looking to be famous on Youtool.
He's mocking the supposed shortcomings of the mighty F body.

If these cars were such POS's why are there so many still around?
Show my your hyondaoyotissan after 34 years champ.
Chances are when this idiots kia is part of some new import sh!tbox
My Volare will still be on the road.
And the mighty slant?
Obviously this metrosexual latte loving FI chebbie stooge doesn't know about the legend of the slant. A bulletproof example of a "perfect" engine.
I love slants....I've been told I don't know how many times that I should pull the Super Six in my Caravelle and drop in a blah, blah, Hemi, blah...
No dice....amazing little bastard and it ain't going nowhere.
Put it up against one of the gutless six bangers furd and cheb were puking out.

Moral of the story is....this guy is a wipe and although he initially pissed me off.
I really couldn't give a ratsass what he says.
I know the truth.

The guy really does not have the voice for radio or video. Sounds like a whiny wanker.

Drove from San Diego to Athens Ga, pulling a 1000 pound trailer that was loaded with a kawasaki ninga in the front all my tools clothes, belongings. trip took me 3 days and it averaged 20 MPG loaded with what I estimated as nearly a ton of extra weight. I am serious as a heart attack you CAN'T stop a slant.

I also drove my slant from Athens to Chicago averaged 25 MPG the car went from Temps in the 70's in GA and in Chicago it was Sub zero... The car never missed a beat. started right up..

The guy couldn't be farther from the truth. Going from an A-Body to an F-Body I see that MOPAR made many really good improvements. including the transverse torsion bars, ISO-clamp, more room in the interior... anyway the guy is a boob and I totally disagree...even that 4 door he was driving could be a real eye catcher if it was taken care of and painted right, He says the car is bland well that is exactly what I think about every other jelly bean going down the road.(that get the SAME gas mileage as my slant BTW)

One of the lamest video's I have ever seen on a opinion. It is pretty obvious he has no clue what he is talking about. One of the best motors ever built or manufactured was the Slant Six. Yeah maybe it is a six and not the fastest but hey they can take one hell of a beating. I have owned five of them. My late father owned five of them and my grand daddy also owned five of them. I think that alone speaks for its self.

I saw it awhile back and couldn't get through the whole thing. Wanna be comedian who isn't funny and is inaccurate as mentioned. The slant six was right inline with other sixes of the era, and the entire drivetrain was bullet proof. He is obviously car clueless, or he'd have heard of the legendary and venerable slant six, and not gone there.

+1 The vid was crap and disingenuous.

My biggest complaint with the F-body is nimrods thinking it's a nova. At least most of the import/ricer crowd I've encountered dont even know what it is. They just usually said cool ride.

well, i think the f bodys are a good platform. there are a few flaws as with ANY american or jap cracker box. im on my 8th f body over 30 years. cant be all that bad.. so this nimrod chevy-import lover hates the mighty /6. bet he NEVER owned one. bitches about no power and only 20 mpg. was not made for beating a small block chevy, even though most slants can.if i want more power ill either buy a v8 car or rebuild my /. looking at a 76 volare 318 for a winter beater

It would seem this clown achieves his 15 seconds of pseudo fame by slagging classics.....I'm sure he loves sipping gluten free vegan latte's in his miata.

I've seen F's slagged by 'writers' so often over the yrs.

Meanwhile we are still standing and where's all the 76-80 Furds, GM's or imports?
Never see one on the streets, only car shows.

This guy is FOS. My dad bought a 1969 Dodge Dart in about 1973 with the slant six. That engine never gave my dad 1 problem. After over a decade of use, my buddy bought it for commuting to college for 4 years straight. Same story for him, not 1 problem. It's probably still running wherever it is now. You'll never convince anyone who has owned one that they were anything but extremely durable & reliable. Fill the douche bag with boiling water......

That guy is just another neutered gluten-free metrosexual looking for his ten seconds of youtube fame. Like I said.....I'm sure he feels way more at home in his wife's prius than in a real car.

Folks, what we have here is a prime example (the maker of the video) who was rejected by the gay porn industry and is still a bit frustrated about it. He should seek counseling or a priest, but the priest might reject him too.

Ok, just watched his Video, What a MORON. I've owned several Aspen's and Volare's over the years (back in the day when you could get a used car for 500 bucks or less, Hell my first car was a 71 Dart for 200 bucks, and we had a used care lot in Carter Lake Iowa that sold cars for 495 or less) and I have NEVER owned one with WTF is wrong with his Steering??HOLY HELL His steering is sooo messed up. I move my Steering wheels on any of them that I have owned an inch and the damn thing would swerve like crazy. He moved his a full rotation and it barely turns. WTF. Granted Everyone I have ever owned has had Rust Problems from hell but so did a lot of the A and B bodies too.

I'm pretty sure that the parents of the guy who made that video are brother and sister.
