My son has picked up a rough 1980 Mirada. A couple of people have told us this car is pretty rare in how it's optioned. I am wondering if anyone can help us out with production numbers and decoding the fender tags.
The car is equipped as follows
318 4bbl with A-999 auto, posi, front and rear sway bars, aluminum wheels, t-tops, air, tilt, cruise, pwr windows, pwr seats, leather bucket seats and console shift.

fender tag
LB1 M25 M55 N88 N92 01D
G52 G63 G73 H53 L35
A56 C16 C55 097 G03 G44
TX9 V3E C B02 000 26
TX9 ELM6 000 216 C36580
E46 D33 XH22 HAR 164239

Second fender tag
S14 W0B END
P31 P41 P45 R32 R48
XH22 HAR 164239

Any information would be appreciated

Wow, that is great Thank-you. Do you know if t-top cars for 1980 a rarity or not so much

I’m not as much of a J-body expert as I am an F and M-bodies.
I’ve worked on a few – but worked on the others a whole lot more.

My guess is J-body with T-Tops would be less than 5% of all built – but don’t use that as anything exact (for I’m not exactly sure).
