Hello!
Well... I play tuba.
Previously, mostly into A bodies (1968 Barracuda Fastback and 1973 Plymouth Duster). I came into a 1978 Volare sedan in really good condition and thought I'd look around to see if there were any other people into these cars. So here you are.
Anyway, the Volare had been sitting in an old lady's garage for 18 years but she fired right up. Oil change and some tires later, she passed California smog and now is tooling around happily.

We tuba players love these cars. It's in our blood.

I am concerned about your compunction for firing up old ladies.:)

"Old" is a relative term...
Poor thing is on ice at the moment as some part of the smog system blew up (in a gruesome fashion) and I haven't had a chance to get to a junkyard and pick off something to replace it!

Also... Miraphone 188 CC!
