Jeep 8.25 carriers?

I found a thread on another forum that mentioned putting a jeep suregrip into a abody 8.25 differential. Is that a really an option? If so it makes my search a lot easier.

Certain gens of Jeep and Dakota used the 8 3/8 rear end which is basically an 8 1/4. You will have to do some research for which match. It has been too long and I don't recall. I know that 94-98 Grand Cherokees rear disc fit and a member on here swapped a Jeep Liberty 2003-2007 rear axle into a F body.
