I need new leaf springs for my "87 5th ave. Any advice on where to find them for a reasonable price? Also, what type of shocks are you using? I prefer Bilstein and I found them at Firmfeel, but it's $400 for a set. Too much for me. Thanks again for all of the help I have received here. I'm really loving the car.

I'm running KYB Gas-Adjust also. I scored them close out at rock auto, dirt cheap. 2 are white and 2 are black, but if you are close enough to notice, you are too close to my car! They are great shocks. I need to go grab a rear cop car sway bar and maybe a front depending on the diameter of mine from a buddy.

Be aware, and correct me if I'm wrong, but if you put the super stock springs on its going to raise the back of your car quite a bit.

I detailed and painted mine (the KYB's) Eastwood Underhood Black. They were bright white out of the box.

I'd not suggest Super Stock springs. As mentioned, the car will sit too high and will ride like a lumber wagon (IMO). With my stock rate (new) rear springs, 4 leaf with round front bushing, it rides pretty darn stiff. Not harsh, just firm.
