Hi Guys,

First of all I understand the severity of Corona, a lot of people have died and it's just not good at all. There have been deaths here and NZ gov acted quite early to try and save lives.

In NZ we have been under lock down for the last month. We are currently at level 4, on Tuesday we move to level 3, still quite strict but at least can buy takeaway food again, it's screwed our economy and for a country of 4.8 million our unemployment has gone up by 200,000. But if saves lives it's good. Anyways this has left me with spare time confined to home.

I have spent time tidying and cleaning my garage and today I dragged the 6.1 hemi out to start work on it, I got enthusiastic when some parts for it finally arrived I bought 6 months back from USA. US customs held the shipment up for ages, my boxes have been opened and have a US customs inspected sticker on them. Btw guess who paid for this pleasure, you guessed right the US customs billed the freight company who kindly passed on my share of the bill.

Love the oil squirter's on the 6.1 and cross bolted mains.

How different is the 6.1 vs the 5.7?
The 6.1 and 6.4L Hemi's share many parts (not all, but many).
The 5.7L is all by itself and the 6.2L Hemi is also all by itself

Edit: there are some similarities between the truck 5.7L and car 5.7L – but not a lot.
