Should be a 3549957 L-19. I don`t have a book to verify though.

I have a Mopar oil filter and a Mopar battery. (a little class around here) Who ever heard a Baldwin? For real? Buy a Baldwin at Alde's? Mopar pro what? You buy your aftermarket filter

I stick with mopar filters too. I use 090`s on my old cars. It is a little shorter then the 3549957 IIRC. I change my oil often enough not to worry about it. Never had one leak or fail.

Thank you very much Volare 77. I was just looking for a simple answer to my question weather 090's work on LA's and you answered my question. I appreciate it

The big difference between oil filters is the print on the outside and the price.
But whatever makes you feel good.

090 Walmart $6.47. In years past I drag raced A LOT! Always used Mopar Performance oil filters and Penzoil. It was the combination of my engine assy, and running Mopar that I never lost a motor. Thank you

IMO the mopar 090 is a good compromise between a cheap filter and a real expensive one. It makes me wonder how much difference between the standard 090 mopar filter and the MP filter. And yes, there is somebody making the filter for mopar so it may very well be the same as a good purolator filter, etc. At least I know to stay away from the cheaper STP , standard Fram and no name filters for sure.

If your referring to the 440 in my avatar that would have a Joe Gibbs I believe if not a Wix. I know it's got Gibbs oil in the pan. If it hasn't been dynoed yet it's got a $2 filter on it for painting the motor.

I feel good going with mother nature. The Mopar filter appears to be quality when dissected, it doesn't cost any more, I've never had a problem while my Mopars were thrashed as much as any, AND IT SAYS MOPAR! Each to his own

This review may be with the Viper 836 filter used on earlier models.

If your not turning rpm or higher oil pressure the thin can should not be a problem. But I have seen oil filters blown off the motor.
