Found a new ride...a gorgeous 1981 Diplomat 2 door Sport....two tone. We love it!
It was living the last 9 years in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio with a wonderful senior man, who was moving on and couldn't keep it any longer. We are its new caretakers.
Brought it home yesterday. I had to replace the wiper linkage bushings and reglue the rear view mirror on so it will pass state inspection....but other than that I dont think it needs much.....
Odometer reads about 32k.....seller said there was a 10k mile error (reflected on the title).....so in theory it has 42k miles......but no way to know for sure. It had been repainted what we believe are the stock colors right before the man bought it in 2009.
My younger son will be driving this and caring for it, so watch for him soon on this forum along side Red Barron asking questions etc.
