This app works great. It's easy to use.
I have this on my phone.

At least on the PC version of this program, all the reviews state it has Conduit malware bundled with it. I know how to remove this program but better that it not get installed in the first place. Also, recently read an article on technet that claimed there is a bunch of new malware out and infecting more phones than ever. If your provider gives free antivirus for phones, you may want to install that. . my 2c. :)

Strange.
Not sure about the PC version. My Norton anti virus said my phone version was safe and I got it off the google play store.

I just went looking for anything bad about it and couldn't find anything. Maybe the one you're looking at is different than this one?

I was on download.cnet.com and the reviews weren't flattering. Everyone liked the program, but not the bugs. Just giving a heads up anyhow...

when you get the page open, expand the review area to see more than the first alarmists view. lots of folks rated the software 3 to 4 stars but then hated the malware.

Hmmmmm.......

Well number one. That isn't what I'm using on my phone. Yes it's made by XnView but it's a different app. Secondly the editor gave it a great review and said nothing about malware. The one user who did has a fabulous command of the English language and quite possibly has a pickle up his ass about the app. Maybe because he's too dense to use it? Not sure.

All i know is I've had no issues at all with the ReSize Me app and I've gotten no flags whatsoever from my full Norton packages which is on my phone.

A great review from this guy.

This is the editor's bottom line.

Bottom Line

XnView offers a comprehensive set of tools for managing and editing your digital images. Users of all experience levels will do well with this program, although casual users probably won't wind up using all of the advanced features. The program is also totally free, so there's no reason not to try it out to see if it's right for you.

Thanks Capt, for checking this out. There are many more reviews though, you have to expand it *a cnet thing* and then you will see all the other reviewers and notes, I counted about 10 right off the bat that said software great, bundled Conduit bad. From years of exp working on these beasts, Conduit isn't the worst thing you could install, but not something I would want on any of my 12 computers. Basically hijack ware at its finest. . re-routes all your traffic to their servers *proxy* so they take over your surfing, etc... not a true "virus" but not fun to clean up after either.... btw, Cnet gets its revenue from companies that advertise, hence the free download stuff.

My Tandy with Win7 seems to have no problem.
And all my big pics get automatically resized when I upload.
Handy if I want to post the pics on old 135KB max sites.

I use 'Paint' to resize for other sites.

Like I said.....no issues for me and Norton approved. The other thing I do is uninstall apps when I'm not using them.
