’79 F, M, B & R-body wo/Tilt and wo/cornering lamps.
The Tilt columns are different and steering columns across the board are different in 1980. I don’t have an ’80 or ’81 parts book to look at – so no comment about fitting other years.
My ’78 parts book shows a different part number (most likely because it uses a different electrical plug-in – white box, below).
FMJ vehicles used 4 different steering columns from ’76-89 (’76-79 and ’80-89), in Tilt and non-Tilt versions. Some cars got cornering lamps (mostly M & J-body’s, depending on what state car was sold in).
Then, the electrical plug (see above) changed about 4, maybe 5 times between ’76-89.
In many cases, the plug from old switch can transfer to new switch – but not necessarily in all cases. Other times it requires splicing & soldering.
You might want to take some better pictures – so for those who do need one, can have a better chance to get the correct one.
