Looks really nice. No radiator shroud and my b-body 360s have the upper radiator hose connecting on the driver's side? Are FMJs different than Bs?

No that radiator is not correct for a V8. Looks like a slant six radiator. Possibly a 6 to 8 conversion done on the car.

Driver side for V8s on FMJ too
That is believed to be a slant Rad

All FMJ bodies without A/C, without maximum cooling or without towing package gets the smaller 18” (across the core) radiator – like what mine has in it (which is original to car).

All A/C cars as well as non-A/C cars with maximum cooling or towing package got the wider radiator.

All FMJ cars with V-8’s have the same location for radiator necks.
The radiator for this car is either a FMJ /6 or from another car line. I would “guess” it to be an FMJ /6 18” radiator (but could be wrong).

Another thing, this car has an A-body Left side exhaust manifold. The A-body goes up and over the steering gear and can work fine on an FMJ body – other than it looks out of place (especially with the missing heat stove).

Edit: also notice the starter wire location. It should go down towards the front of Left engine mount and along the side of engine to the starter.
