I'm curious. Were the R/T's and RR's available in any color, or only a few? I've only ever seen orange, black, white, and rarely green.

It might be easier to go through the color list of what hasent been seen.
The past few years has brought out many of what some would consider the less desirable RR-RT cars, odd color options and bench seats but the FT dont lie.
Look on the left side of your tag.

I wasn’t able to find much on the available colors for ’76 Road Runner’s.
I did find this, published in ’77. It is a Color and Trim book that dealers had access to, for those picky buyers.
A copy of the front cover, page # 16 and a blowup on page 16:

From the above website, I got color chips and codes that go with the paint codes listed above. Now this information is for ’77 Road Runner’s and not ’76, but “I would think” would be close if not the same.
That said, I have only seen about 1/3rd these colors on Road Runner’s before – which makes me wonder . . .
