Looking for some pre bent brake lines for a 1977 8.25 rear end? Who has them? Thanks

I don't know who has them but the ones on the axle are probably the easiest ones on the car to make yourself. I'll be doing mine in a few weeks when I hopefully get my suspension all back together.

About a year ago or so I sent my 8 1/4 lines to one of the prebent line companies and they made them. I don`t recall which one at this time.

I probably don't have them anymore but I'll look anyways. I got the set from Inline a few years ago and they fit perfectly. Only had to modify the master lines since they only have them for power brakes and my car is manual. The axle lines didn't fit (I've got an 8 3/4") so there's a small (tiny) chance I still have them.

The lines for 79.00 dollars from Inline tube are for 76-77 as the front lines go by the radiator support,80 goes across the firewall and the calipers are located to the rear of the spindle not like 76-79 calipers located at the front.Aspen500 does your brake line go across the firewall?

Yes, mine goes across the firewall. Don't go by the illustration, it's generic. I got my lines about 12 or 13 years ago and they ran exactly where the originals did. My calipers on on the rear of the rotor, behind the steering knuckle. The lines come out in front and then the hose runs across to the calipers. It's a '79.

I poked around in the garage and,,,,,,,,,,,,,looks like I must have tossed the lines from the kit. Didn't look up in the attic but it's HIGHLY doubtful they'd be up there.

Thanks for looking,I might just buy the kit for 79.00 and do all the lines.I'm installing a new master cylinder , calipers ,rebuilding the rear brakes , new hoses might as well get rid of the 43 year old lines.

The front brake lines on '76-77 are bent way different from the '79-80 front brake lines are (as well as the front brake hoses are longer).
