whats the biggest combo stuffed on the rear , is it safe to assume a 15x7 with 4.5 back space

The wheel houses on all F/J/M cars are the same I believe.
Dad has a 275-60-15 on a 15x8 rim on his Diplomat coupe with no rubbing issues. Think the BS is 5". Don't quote me on the BS though.
My car has a 285-40-18 on a 18x9 rim with slight rubbing on the inside towards the front when it bites.

I had 15x28 slicks on 10" rims on my Fbody. To put 15x30s on I had to pie cut the front edge of the quarters and message the front of the inner wheel housing's.

what offset/backspacing is that wheel? Is it one of the Mustang rims?
AR Torque Thrust VN515. 18x9 with a 5" BS.
Axle is a D60 cut to 66 B body specs, so it is a hair wider than a factory F/J/M axle.

I could only wish as I really wanted a squared stance for the car. I had a 255-45-18 on the front with a 18x8 rim and it rubbed the torsion bar and K slightly. Went down to a 245-40-18 on the same rim and it solved the rubbing issue. Just makes for a real harsh ride and I've bent two rims since going to this size in 2014.

I'm running 235/60/15 on all four corners. 15 x 8, 4" back space.
