WANTED Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers

Greetings To The FMJ World!

I went to fill Darth Car's tank this morning before hitting the highway to travel to one of our remote offices that is an hour away. When I went to open the fuel door, I found that I had lost both of the little rubber bumpers that prevent the door from rattling against the side of the car. The last two I acquired came from an M at the now gone junk yard. Does anybody have a stash of these little fellows?

They are available, check the help aisle at the parts store. Otherwise they are available from one of the weatherstripping companies.

You didn’t mention what car this was to go on, so I did a sampling of cars:

Another option is ACE hardware. I found some small bumpers for my glove box door there.

A buddy from another Board hooked me up with some cut to fit bumpers. They work well. I only wish I had left a bit more length on them.

I bought two at a flea market a few years ago. They looked about right . They were a little high, so I sanded them down, and glued them on.
