Is there a regular AND a "clean burn" version of the "super six" two barrel air cleaner?

Yes.
The /6 Lean Burn air cleaner has the computer on right side of car (all V-8’s either have the computer on left side (or under dash - Police)).
To converter a Lean Burn air cleaner to non-Lean burn:
A person can take steel stock and make a cover for the computer hole if wanted. If so, I would place the steel stock inside and screw it on from outside in. Sealing it is not an issue sense the plate is “pre-air filter”.
To convert a regular air cleaner to Lean Burn:
Make a template from your old (1-bbl) air cleaner and transfer to the 2-bbl air cleaner and start cutting/drilling. Attach Lean Burn computer onto side of air cleaner and run with it.
There is a seal between computer and air cleaner – but it is there mostly to keep vibration down. Sealing is not an issue sense the computer is “pre-air filter”.
A person might be able to find a 318 2-bbl air cleaner and adapt it to fit – but honestly, I’ve not sat a super six air cleaner beside a 318 before. Been told they are different – but never looked into it, so not sure how they are different.
