My '78 Volare Street Kit Car with a 727 A/T is currently running 3/8" rubber lines hose-clamped to cut off OEM steel stubs. I suppose that it's possible that those '80's Blackjack headers that are on there interfered with the trans lines, so they cut them - I don't know.

I bought new SS transmission cooler lines from Inline Tube.

Now that I go to install them, I have no idea how/where the route from the transmission to the radiator. I have done extensive internet searching to determine this routing and have had no luck in finding a diagram or photo.

Does anyone here have a diagram or photo (or link) of the standard routing of these transmission cooler lines?

Thanks,
Mike

The V-8 go across in front of the trans pan and up the passenger side. Here's a pic from the '79 service manual and I'll have to ASSUME '78's were the same.
