i couldn't help it, couldn't say no.
ive been after this car for years.....
just bought a 76 Dodge Royal Monaco Brougham Diplomat coupe, triple black, big block car.
needs a new top and some rear 1/4 rust repair inside the trunk.
the seller is keeping the mags & tires but it comes to me with the original road wheels on white walls.
the Diplomat package seems mainly to be an over the roof stainless trim band, with smaller opera windows.
the 50/50 front seats with dual armrests are upholstered in black and silver brocade cloth.

Gorgeous car!
I was so close to buying that identical car about a year ago.
It was brown and not dip package but I love those Monaco's.

Large congrats!

An old guy (bout' 90) has one like that that I've tried to get. Black, red leather, 440, low miles. Been sitting in his garage 20+ years, hasn't moved. He thinks it's worth 10k. I said Noooooo.

I always loved those 2 door C-bodies. A guy at the technical college ('82-'84) had a '72(?) Newport 2 door. Road wheels, what looked like B5 blue, white top, white interior (buckets, console, floor shift auto if I'm remembering correctly), the perfect rake,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and it was darn near mint. Beautiful car!
