Greetings To The FMJ World!
Well Darth Car has been doing it again, this week. In the morning you turn the key to start, and you hear the radio relay in the dash click, but that is all you get. So you keep rapidly switching the key from run to start until the starter decides it wants to do its thing. This is only a Spring, and Fall thing for Darth Car. I have changed multiple firewall relays. I have replaced the Negative battery cable, since it looked to be original. He has a new Denso mini starter. The shop continues to tell me the trouble is not in the starter, when they test it, and I tend to believe them since he did this with his previous starter. I confirmed the ground strap is still intact on the back of the engine.I even used the multimeter to test the top of the battery for corrosive drain along the battery case top, between the terminals. I have tried exercising the gear selector to see if it was the Neutral Safety Switch, but that helps nothing.
I'm out of ideas. Help!
