    I've sprayed lubricant like silicone on upper and lower bushings one at a time to see if squeak stopped so I could identify source. I agree not likely a balljoint AND I agree time to do a front end rebuild.

    Correct correct correct. Cruise was an option on AHB, the cable wouldn't effect the speed indicated (unless MAYBE it's not properly lubed and dragging but unlikely), and the adapter gear with certain number of teeth would effect speed. I guess you're sure it's not reading properly. Seems...

    My '89 AHB (for sure an AHB. Still had Sheriff's Dept markings, S Code VIN, extra welds etc.) has power windows and no oil pressure gauge from factory. As Mike wrote, you could really option them the way you wanted back then.

    Mike's right. Look for extra welds on firewall where braces mount, or look for the extra welds on rear door strike posts. Eighth character in VIN of "S" is HD 4 barrel.

    What I ended up doing is I installed a relocated oil filter to the rad support and the cooler runs off those lines. I used a good quality one and braided steel lines and now my filter is away from heat, so much easier to replace during oil changes, and there's ZERO seeping/leaking.

    I'm trying to recall, but wasn't it only a special banjo bolt into the fuel pump, and not the pump itself? In other words just different hardware, same pump though as one without cooler.

    There is a lot of equipment for sure and factory 4 bbl car is nice. The paint has tons of orange peel so I'd want to inspect carefully for filler but it looks promising. I'm not a fan of the spotlight on roof.

    I wouldn't suggest going with a higher stall on the stock setup. IMO you'll be annoyed with it quite possibly. Stick with factory stall (1800 I believe).

    I wouldn't either unless it fell on my lap. A slant six A body, different story. Lighter and less smog junk on most. So I'd find an '85 and up when the slanty was gone in the M. Rear gear swap big help if you get 2.2.

    Yes you will have to get your driveshaft shortened or use his IF he has same transmission as you. Early Police Diplomat could've had the 727 trans but his probably has A999 if it's a Police car so you could try and get his driveshaft too. I don't know if you have anyone over there to shorten a...
