I have a question about the grille and the gap above it.

I plan on using a 78/79 grille on my 77 dodge aspen along with this (non plymouth/dodge) trim piece above it the same as this car-I thought the 78/79 grille closed this gap compared to a 76/77 aspen grille which DOES leave a gap. What am I missing?

That's not a correct 77 grille.

thats not a 80 grill in that green car. looks like a 78 aspen grill. look at the 80 turn signals have 4 sections. the green cars grill has 3 sections. i had this grill in my 79 volare at 1 time till it got smashed, still got a few pcs of it like the turn lense. also the 80 grills turn lights are equal in height to the headlights
