I apologize for the lengthy read, however, it will mitigate time loss on your part, along with mine.
1981 Chrysler LeBaron Station Wagon.
Clean California title, in hand. Vehicle is located in California 94513
Factory 318 4 barrel automatic car.
Zero rust. Absolutely none.
Excellent body, paint, trim, paneling and vinyl.
Excellent tires.
Runs and drives onto trailer or yard drives. There is a crack in the shortblock somewhere. I purchased the vehicle not running.
ALL ORIGINAL PARTS REMOVED ARE INCLUDED.
Many many new parts to include:
Cylinder heads
ARP head bolts
Head gaskets
Intake gaskets
Mopar electronic ignition conversion kit.
Demon, thermoquad knock off
Edelbrock performer aluminum intake.
Water pump
Thermostat
Clutch fan.
Radiator
Hoses
Valve cover gaskets
Exhaust manifold gaskets
Spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor
After replacing all of the above, I took her for a spin. Upon return I found coolant in the oil, again. Car was also overheating. It is possible it needs decked. The heads were newly rebuilt and magged. I suspect a cracked block. I was hoping to retain its original engine. I have way too many cars to spend anymore time and money on this vehicle. I have a 63 dodge polara, a 67 Belvedere and a 76 dodge camper Van I am restoring. I am not retired, I need the space and time back.
Message me and I can send (text) a walk around video if seriously interested.
I would hate to do this, but I will part it out if there is enough interest.
Somebody did replace the interior with cheap taxi cab upholstery, unfortunately.
$1500 firm. I can assist with shipping. (Note I do have a rebuilt 30 over 318 shortblock, along with new mild cam/lifters and timing set to go with the car for additional monies)
