1981 Chrysler Imperial 318/auto trans. Car runs and drives like a dream. It is driven weekly. Does not use oil. Has the factory sunroof that does not leak. Electric seats from a VW. Will come with a Firm Feel set of torsion bars new in the box. ($1200 value) New tires and brakes. Has the Imperial crystal center caps that are extremely rare. Odometer reportedly at 68,000. I pulled the valve covers to replace the gaskets and it appears to be of that mileage. Makes 55psi oil pressure at cruise. Ignition system converted to a GM module with MSD coil. This car is driven weekly.
I bought this car to build a Buddy Arrington stock car replica, but I just can't bring myself to cut it up!
Things to be fixed:Sunroof motor is inop.
Digital dash displays random numbers for the speedometer. (has a GPS speedo on the dash)
AC inop
Wipers inop
Needs paint. The paint is new, but it is a $99 special at best.
Wiring needs to be gone through. It is a 40 year old car. $6,000 OBO.
For a purchase at asking or over, I will deliver with 500 miles of Daytona.
