Won't pass cali smog, steal it before I change my mind. PERFECT for a sane state, where you can dump the "Lean Burn" and really enjoy this car.

Build sheet. 318, AC, PW, POWER DRIVERS SEAT, CRUISE, rebuilt OE AM/FM/CASSETTE PREMIUM SOUND, OE HD Springs.

Dark brown w/ light tan factory fake convertible top. Beautiful light tan leather interior. Leather is like new, soft, no tears or cracks. No cracks on dash. Beautiful interior!

Original paint is VERY PRESENTABLE. Folks tell me how nice it looks! Some nicks as you would expect for its age. RR fender extension is cracking, but can be fixed. Left door and fender had a dent that you can see, when the sunlight hits it at the right angle. (IMO you have to LOOK for it)

Original owner kept it garaged and hardly drove it. Low miles on brakes, shocks, muffler, belts, hoses.

THIS CAR IS THE DEFINITION OF "RUST FREE"!

Won't pass cali smog (runs too lean) and I can't get it to idle low enough.

When I get time, I will see if my Son can post photos.

Then yous will see what a DEAL this car is!

I am one Man, working a full time job, plus taking care of 8 cars, for 4 drivers. Plus I manage 3 rental units and TRY, to find time for my Wife and Kids!

I need to sell off some cars, to have more time w/ Family.

Photos will be available as soon as the Moderator approves my Photobucket link. Stand by.

Look at the photo of the left door and front fender. You will see how the dent I refered to, is not very noticeable. Not a concern, IMO.

Thanks.

Dig the old car phone!

If I knew the "Keypad Unlock" code, it would at least be able to dial 911 ! It still turns on.

I ordered a Chrysler reman LB engine control computor.

nO takers/offers at $1700, I so I will fix it, then Ebay, I guess.

I lived in Riverside and Marin County. I changed the lean burn, per smog law, and installed a regular ignition system and distributor. Car picked up acceleration and gas millage. Put duals on it in Northern Cal. Lean burn parts are not available from Chrysler, and they sell the complete conversion.
This is a nice car, I have an 1980 Cordoba, you need to keep this car. I live in Alaska now. I'm in the process of installing a highly modified 360. I will take pictures and post them here. I am 72 years young, disabled, and a complete MOPAR nut. Raced 64 Max Wedge car and a 66 Satellite with a HEMI. Also a 70 Cuda 440-6Pak and a 70 340-6Pak. Worked at Melrose Motors in Oakland as a tune up specialist. Hope this helps you and all of our FMJ body friends.

I just purchased a reman, LB Computer, from the Chrysler Dealer. I don't yet know what else I might need.

Are you saying I might have got an Emmisssion excemption, from California BAR?

UPDATE UPDATE

Using my smoke machine I located leaking carburetor gaskets anf EGR valve gasket. while overhauling the carb I observed that the float bowl and main jets were dirty. Cleaned up nice in my carb tank.

I installed the genuine, Crysler reman LB computer. new EGR gasket, new coolant tempature sender , new F/filter, air filter. Checked timing and made all the carb adjustments.

It idles perfectly and passed SMOG, real clean.

Thanks for the input. ($1700 offer is gone, of course)>

Yes, that is what I am saying! You don't have to put up with the lean burn. The Chrysler LB Computer is only on the list of parts that are discontinued, not available. You got one of these NOS units. I got the kit from Chrysler and retrofitted my Doba, no problem getting the exemption. Car ran so good, it had the high performance cop engine in it, E78 or something like that.
Used to work as a line mechanic for Melrose Motors in Oakland, California.

Where is California is this car located? I missed that. Also, is it still for sale? Thanks.

The car is in Petaluma, California. And will , again, be for sale. NOT $1700 THOUGH.

That "bUY NOW WHILE i AM DISGUSTED BECAUSE IT WON'T PASS SMOG PRICE/SITUATION HAS PASSED!

I recently bought our Son a 1996 Impala SS. Now I am insuring and maintaining NINE CARS, for 5 drivers, in the Family!. This takes too much money, time and space.

It now runs VERY WELL! I will be installing a Moog Idler Arm, doing an LOF and waxing it.

Please PM me for a telephone number, if interested. Thanks.
