The manual box was rebuilt with a new Year One 20:1 steering gear worm and ball nut package years ago by Dick Ross at Firm Feel. The 20:1 ratio is a good compromise between the loosey-goosey stock 24:1 ratio and the 16:1 ratio which can be a real beast if you're not moving at speed. I was going to go manual in my 440 Gran Fury but I decided to go with a new power box and never installed the manual unit. All parts have been in dry storage in the original packing box since I bought them. You will need to buy a manual (small sector) pitman arm to use the manual box.
