Hi Guys,

I have some felpro 39thou LA heads gaskets, I am just unsure, I thought they both went up the same way but one goes up one side and the other bank the other side up. Blue up on one, black up on the other is this ok?

Secondly I don't want to cook my heads so I took 4 close up photos of the of the heads gaskets, does it look all ok? All the holes in the right places?

Those head gaskets confuse a lot of people.
The “This Side Up” is not confusing (or shouldn’t be), but those small holes not lining up, or holes being blocked gets confusing and just do not look correct – but it is.
Both head gaskets can go on either side without issues – just as long as the “This Side Up” is correct.

The 1008's are a much better gasket than the magnum graphoil garbage! I use them on magnums all the time. The only thing you don't have are the pushrod holders and if you are using a flat tappet cam with magnum heads the push rod holes would have to be cut out anyway.
