Talked to my machinest today. My new crank is on the way from K1. I was deciding between 4.25" and 4.125".

With much debate, I choose the smaller crank, 4.125". The torque difference between the cranks is only 10 ft lbs at 6900 rpm.

I will end up with 434" small block.

The couple computer programs we have run, they end up around 660 horse power and 590 ft lbs torque.

What block, rods and pistons are you going to use?

Check out the Eagle I beam or H beam forged ones. That's what I stepped up to on my lastest 440 build. They are a good bang for the buck. With that many horses will you be shooting nitrous to it?

Carrillo rods will most likely get ordered.

Yes I will be hitting nos to the motor. 100 hp shot. I want to run 10.50 N/A and 9.60's with spray

:thumbsup:Awesome!! Best of luck on this build. I wanted to go for a big cube stroker but the Comp Ratio would have been too high for my boosted application.
Im running a K1 3.79 stroke crank in a 360, K1 6.125 rods with chevy 2.1 rod journals and .927 pin. Off the shelf forged Diamond pistons with a -30cc dish will give me a 8.5to1 CR.

Still waiting for the K1 crank to show up. Pistons should be coming real soon as well. The only thing I got is the rods for Carrilo. almost forget, my new comp roller lifters showed up too.

My w2's will get assembled next week, then they are done.

360" 8 barrel dynoed 653 hp @ 6800 and 586 ft lbs @ 4700

Pretty good #'s with old w2's that have 2.02 valves and only flow 289 cfm!

Cam is roller, 660 lift. cam is a custom grind from my machinest

I went with a molner crank instead of K1.

Nice!
I saw your engines dyno specs and figured you would trap just after peak HP rpm.
With the insane amount of torque your engine produces, do you think a 30" tire would help?
That will give a larger footprint to lower 60' times and will lower your trap RPMs slightly.
