80 cmx

I have an 80' cmx with 81000 miles,the car was carported till 1994 then parked under a shed. original 318 untouched,interior is very nice except for a small split in the drivers seat.No rust anywhere,burgandy with burgandy interior.I bought ill fitting rear fillers that need to be worked in and it needs paint. I'm wanting to build another toy but hate to do anything to such an original car...have an e58 360 and 727 to put in something....does the car have enough value to repaint and leave original?..or should I go ahead and hot rod it?

Great car have at it. Hot rodding is cool, I hope you don't cut it up IMO the factory sleeper look is much more appealing. Look at a thread on here called Modoba for some inspiration.

I'm looking at stroker kits for the 360......the 727 and a b body 8 3/4 will basically be all...My uncles dogs ruined the wheels while it was under the shed,so a wheel change too...I think cop car wheels painted the same color as the car with the caps would be cool

nah,they are corroded too bad from dog whiz,I live in the sticks and dogs are everywhere
