I Have NEVER heard of this... I am not a specialist in the field, but I have never had a problem getting a front end alignment with reverse off-set in the rear. Rear doesnt have squat to do with a FRONT-END alignment... A 4 wheel alignment, I might believe but would still question it.... I have had many a cars aligned while running offset wheels and tire sizes... IE: 14"x6" on front 15"x10" on rear....
